Caroline’s path to becoming a trauma specialist was deeply personal.
For nearly two decades as a bus driver, she witnessed firsthand the impact of trauma and emotional distress—from accidents on the road to the unseen struggles of passengers. But her understanding of trauma went beyond observation.
Growing up in an environment shaped by financial hardship, mental health challenges, and addiction, Caroline learned how trauma can shape identity, behavior, and emotional well-being. She experienced the effects of co-dependency, nervous system dysregulation, and emotional disconnection—all while trying to carry on as if everything was fine.
But years of unresolved trauma took a toll. She found herself in cycles of self-doubt, reactive emotional patterns, and an inability to trust her own instincts. It wasn’t until she discovered Brainspotting and somatic healing that everything changed.
